Pee Wee's take a big one over BCH!
The Pee Wee team had their backs against the wall before the game last night as it was a must win situation for the team in the playoffs.

The standings had us tied with BCH for points with this being BCH's last game of the round robin. Our squad however has one more game on Saturday vs. Mitchell. In order for us to secure our round robin division we needed a win vs. BCH. From the drop of the puck at the start of the game, both teams worked hard. Central Perth would be the first one on the board 4 minutes into the first when Landon Boers scored an unassisted goal. Two minutes later, Savanah Gropp would pass the puck up to Boers who carried it again and got another by the BCH netminder. We were up 2-0 by then end of the first.
We couldn't let our guard down at all as BCH kept Zach Bowles busy with shot after shot. Seven minutes into the second and Bowles couldn't stop a bouncing shot and our 2 goal lead was cut in half. That would be the only goal scored in the second.
The third period had excitement and chances to no end! Three minutes in and a high stick side shot got over Bowles shoulder to even things up at 2 a piece. Both goalies made some amazing glove saves and managed to keep the puck from going in during lots of scuffles in front of each net. There was even one on Bowles that rolled around the outside of the net and landed about 3" in front of the goal line. A heartstopper! With 3:12 left in the third, Sawyer Voskmap worked hard on an assist from Ryerson Hargrave to get our go ahead goal. Then on the face off after that goal, Voskmap again would take the puck and get our fourth of the game, unassisted.
The last 2:44 were tense as BCH had their goalie pulled. Even with the extra man, our defense fended them off and we came out victorious, final score 4-2!  What a great game!

We do have our last game of the round robin tomorrow at 4pm in Monkton, with it being Mitchell's home game.
