Tough loss at home vs. Mitchell
The Pee Wee's welcomed our neighbouring team, Mitchell to the rink Thursday night.
The Pee Wee's are looking to get back on the wining side of things before Christmas holidays.
The game started off great with a goal halfway into the first from Hunter Gilbert, assisted by Landon Boers and Nolan McMillan. With 24 seconds left in the first, Sawyer Voskamp shoved one in Mitchell's net on assists from Ryerson Hargrave and Savannah Gropp.
Mitchell tied things up in the second with 2 goals.
Into the third we go all tied at 2. Mitchell would get another 4 minutes into the period. An empty netter with 42 seconds left, had us at a 4-2 loss.
It was a good game overall and we need to work on keeping the lead when we have it. Our only game before Christmas comes next Thursday in Monkton at 6:30pm.
