Midgets Win Game 2
Tighter game than the first
Your CP Midget Reps played host to Lucknow last night in Game 2 of their opening OMHA playoff series.
The boys did a good job with puck possession and spending alot of time in Lucknows end for the first period, but were unable to find the scoreboard. We'd end the first tied at no score.
Early in to the second, Smith would find the mesh for his first of the season from Terpstra and Skinner. Quipp would add another one 16 seconds later assisted by Huber and Smith. Lucknow would answer back a minute later to make it 2-1, and we'd head into the flood up a goal.
5 minutes in to the third, Lucknow would tie the game up at 2 all. With just over 2 minutes remaining in the game, Skinner would finish his own rebound to net the game winner, assist to Erb on the goal.
Final score Central Perth 3, Lucknow 2. The CP Midgets are now up 4 points to 0 in a first to 6 series. Game 3 goes next Friday at the PERC, 7pm game time.
