Predators Just Short in WOAA Game vs Drayton
Another Close Game
Your CP Midget Reps travelled to Drayton Sunday, yes, again, but this time as part of the WOAA round robin series that we are in with them and Mount Forest.
Drayton would strike first, but 16 seconds later Denstedt would answer back unassisted. We'd end the first tied at 1 all.
Denstedt would start the second period off with his second marker of the night, assisted by Gilbert and LeBlanc. Drayton would answer back twice, before McCourt would tie things up, assisted by Huber and Quipp. 10 seconds later Drayton would get one more, and go into the flood up 4-3 on us.
Drayton would go up 5-3 early in the third. McCourt would score his second of the night assisted by Huber late in the period, but Drayton would hold on for the 5-4 win.
