CP Wins Final WOAA Game
Defeat Mt Forest in Monkton
Your CP Midget Reps faced off against Mt Forest last night in Monkton, in their final round robin game of the WOAA Playoff Series.
Gilbert would get things rolling in the first assisted by Quipp. We'd end the first up 1-0.
McCourt would start the second off early assisted by Denstedt and Terpstra. Mt Forest would claw back a couple in a row, and then McCourt would add another assisted by Denstedt and Quipp. Into the flood we were up 3-2.
Mt Forest would tie it up into the third. Quipp would respond right away assisted by Earl. Then McCourt would snag the hattrick, assisted by Huber and Quipp. Denstedt would add 1 more for CP, assisted by McCourt and Huber. Mt Forest would beat Mueller once more before the end of the game, but it wasn't enough. Final score CP 6, Mt Forest 4.
Next up the boys are off to Norwich tonight to play game 3 of their OMHA Semi Final series, down 2 games to none the boys have to show up and play 3 solid periods, they can definitely beat Norwich but they'll need a full 45 minute effort from everyone on the ice.
