Predators Defeat Drayton - Off to OMHA Semi Finals

Your CP Midget Reps hosted Drayton in Game 5 on Friday night at the PERC. With the series tied at 4 pts each, the stakes were high.
In the opening minutes of the game, Skinner would get us rolling assisted by McCourt and Erb. Drayton would answer back a few minutes later. With time winding down, Gilbert would find the mesh, assisted by LeBlanc and Francis, to put us up 2-1 after 1.
Two and a half minutes into the second, Gilbert would pot his second of the night, and eventual game winner, assisted by Erb. Drayton was unable to solve Mueller in the second, we'd head into the flood up 3-1.
Drayton, as we know, doesn't go away easy, and would battle hard in the third. With just over 5 minutes left in the game, they'd claw one back to make it a 3-2 hockey game. But thats as close as they'd get, final score CP 3, Drayton 2.
CP wins the series, and will now face Norwich in the OMHA DD Midget Rep Semi-finals! Schedule is still being sorted out but stay tuned!
The boys had to play Drayton again yesterday, in Drayton, as part of the WOAA round robin series, update on that game will follow.
