The Pee Wee LL had 2 games in that last couple days.
The Saturday game was a part of CPMH Hockey Days in Monkton. We had a 5 pm game vs. Drayton.
Drayton came off the faceoff and carried the puck to our end. A bad deflection of of our defence line, took the puck by Tim Beuerman in net. The rest of the first period saw the puck travel back and forth with no more goals scored until .8 seconds left when Haiden Goetz connected with Kaleb Horton-Shine and Darius Ladd for our opening goal. First period came to a 1-1 tie.
The second period had Goetz and Kirkham connect with Ladd for our second goal. A minute later, Derek Gropp scored on a nice pass from Owen Smith. Drayton would also get 1 in the second with 2:20 left. We went into the third with a slim 3-2 lead.
The third period saw Beuerman stall the Drayton offence. Cayden Hulley scored on an assist from Ladd and Dylen Rastorfer. Hulley would get another assisted by Ladd and Kiyran Coulter. Final score 5-2. It was a game of great passing and teamwork and Beuerman did a great job in net!
Monday night we travelled to Clinton for a 7pm game vs. BCH.
It was a tight game and could have went either way. Clinton would end up scoring 3 goals in the game. Horton-Shine scored assisted by Gropp and Hulley unassisted gave us our 2 goals.
Final score 3-2.
This weekend we travel to Elmira for a tournament. Friday at 5:30 and then 2 games on Saturday. Good work team!
