The Pee Wee's are looking to get back on Winning Side
The Pee Wee's have had 3 games in the last week.
November 30th, Minto came to Monkton. The first period proved to be a defensive one as neither team could score. In the second period, Minto got on the board first with 5 minutes left. We went into the third period with a 1 goal deficit to fill.
The third period saw Minto get their second 4 minutes in. But their lead was cut in half just a minute later when Haiden Goetz scored, assisted from Ryerson Hargrave and Cayden Hulley. With 4:08 left, Dylen Rastorfer and Goetz connected with Darius Ladd to even things up.
That's where it would end at a 2-2 tie. Tim Beuerman had a great night in net for the Predators.
The next day we travelled to Hensall to play BCH #2.
Cayden Hulley got us on the board in the first period to give us a 1-0 lead that held into the second period. BCH would get the only goal in the second to even things up.
The third period saw BCH get 3 goals in 7 minutes. Darius Ladd would add our second with 21 seconds left but it wasn't enough as final score was 4-2 BCH.
Friday night, December 7th the other BCH team came to Monkton.
The first period saw BCH get one by Beuerman. Ryerson Hargrave and Cayden Hulley connected for a goal for Hargrave. We went into the second period with a 1-1 tie.
Derek Gropp would get an unassisted marker 4 minutes into the second. The lead was short lived as BCH got the tying goal 7 minutes later.
In the third period, the BCH defense stalled our offense as we couldn't get another goal to add to the 2 we had. BCH however would get 2 in the third to make the final score 4-2.
This Sunday, December 16th we travel to Arthur for a one day tournament. Good luck Pee Wee LL!
