Regular Season Ends with a Loss
Fall 6-3 to Hanover
APOLOGIES for missing a few game reports, my secretary was a bit delinquent on getting the game sheets to me so I could get them on here...player stats are now up to date, and here is the recap from Friday night:
Your Central Perth Midget Reps played their final regular season game Friday night at home against Hanover.
The boys played one of the best periods of the season in the first, lots of end to end action, and the score would remain at zero after 1.
The first half of the second the boys fell asleep at the wheel a bit, and would give up 2 to Hanover, we'd go into the flood down 2-0.
The break served the boys well and the got 1 back early in the thirdLeeuwen scored assisted by Erb and McCourt. Hanover would answer right back to go up 3-1, but the boys wouldn't let them get away just yet, Quipp would finish one assisted by Gilbert and LeBlanc. Then the penalties started, many unnecessary, and the boys would fall to 5-2. Gilbert would get one back late in the game, assisted by Steckly and Erb, and Hanover would answer that right back as well, final score 6-3 for Hanover.
Now we await the playoff draw, stay tuned for more on that when it happens!
