The Atom's travelled to Drayton last night for the second to last game in the playoffs.
The Preds came out flying from the drop of the puck. Bryce Brown was in net for us again.
The first period was a tight one defensively as no goals were scored for either team.
The second period saw Derek Gropp get our first goal, assisted by Kalen Horton Shine and Tim Beuerman with 2:34 left in the second.
Into the third we went with a slim 1-0 lead. It took 6 minutes for our next goal, an unassisted one from Tim Beuerman. Two minutes later, Horton Shine connected with Gropp again for Gropp's second of the game. Then with four minutes left, Horton Shine got his third assist of the game on Beuerman's second goal.
Final score 4-0!
We travel to Mitchell tomorrow night to play our last round robin playoff game - 7 pm puck drop.
