Fun day at the Plattsville Pride Tournament
The Atoms once again participated in the Plattsville Pride tournament on Saturday, Dec. 2nd.

The first game was a 9 am start vs. Paris Wolfpack.
Paris got on the board first with two goals in the first period. Our team didn't back down. In the second period, we came back with three goals. Derek Gropp had one assisted by Haiden Goetz. Gropp would get another unassisted. Hailey McLean added one assisted by Tim Beuerman. Paris would also get 2 more to end the second at a  4-3 lead.
The third period was exciting for all. Paris would get three more goals in the third. The Predators were determined to come out on top. Derek Gropp would get another, Haiden Goetz with one and Beuerman with two. 
Final score 8-7 for Central Perth.

Our next game was vs. Seaforth Stars.
Seaforth was dominant in the first period scoring 4 goals on Beuerman. Derek Gropp added one for us unassisted.
The second period our offense came alive and scored 3 goals. Gropp added 2 more, one assisted by Bryce Brown and Haiden Goetz added one assisted by  Gropp. Seaforth also kept the scoring going adding 4 in the second.
Going into the third period we were down by 4.
Our goalie, Tim Beuerman and the defense held off the Stars as they didn't score at all in the third. Central Perth would get 2 more goals, one from Goetz unassisted and Gropp added his fourth assisted by Ben Sippel.
Final score 8-6 for Seaforth.
Our final game of the day came vs. Paris Wolfpack 2 team. We wanted to finish the day off on a win and the team worked hard to get there.
Paris would only get 1 in the first. Hailey Mclean had a goal and assisted on Beuerman's goal in the first period.  We were up 2-1 going into the second.
Paris would get 2 goals in the second. Gropp would get one more assisted by Ben Sippel to bring us tied going into the third.
Paris would get 2 more in the third to make it a final 5-3 score.

Great teamwork from our squad over the three games!
We have one game this Saturday in Monkton vs. Seaforth.
