Improved effort for the Pee Wee's
After a tough game vs. Blyth Brussels last Wednesday night, the Pee Wee's were hoping for a better game yesterday in Milverton.
The Pee Wee's were hoping to improve on a lack luster performance last Wednesday night.
The team that showed up yesterday was a much improved one from last week. The Crusaders got on the board first 3 minutes into the first period but our defensive and offensive kept up in the first period.
The second period saw Brett Falk score on an assist from his linemates, Bradley Jantzi and Noal Poole. The Crusaders would notch one more in the second for a 2-1 lead.
That's where the score would remain. It was a loss for our team but all the coaching staff and parents were very pleased with the improved efforts of the team. As we say, "There's no 'I' in team" and yesterday the kids pulled together and played like that.
We travel to Lucknow Sunday morning for a 10:30 am game. Let's hope we can end our round robin with a couple wins!
