Excellent effort for the last playoff game!
The Pee Wee LL's hosted Lucknow on Sunday, March 12th for our last playoff game.
We were hoping for a better outcome for this game than last Sunday morning when we lost 5-0 to Lucknow. From the drop of the puck we could tell it was a different team on the ice! What a great game the kids played! We had control of the puck for a good portion of the game. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the back of their net. Not for lack of trying though as we had lots of shots on net. Reid Baillie was phenomenal in net for us stopping everything that came his way!
The game ended regulation time at 0-0 tie. The coaches decided to play 10 mins of overtime but that couldn't determine a winner as each goalie was stopping all shots. The game ended at 0-0 tie.
The coaches were very happy with that game and the effort put in by all. Let's hope we can keep this momentum going for Friday as we start Young Canada. Our games are 10:10am and 5:10 pm on Friday. Saturday is a 2:50 start.
