First loss in last 5 games in Zurich
The Pee Wee's had their winning streak come to an end on Sunday with a road game to Zurich.

The team was hoping to keep the winning streak rollin' but it would prove to be a tough game vs. Zurich. From the first drop of the puck, Zurich was on the attack. They were a fast team and worked hard on their offence, continuously shooting to our net.
The home team scored first with 3:15 left to go in the first. Our defense and offence had their work cut out for them keeping up with Zurich and trying to break away from a very tight checking team.
The second period saw Zurich score 3 goals in a 5 minute time span with the last one comingwith  2.5 seconds left in the period. We had a lot of work to do in the third period to come back from a 3-0 deficit.
Reid Baillie did an amazing job once again in net as he saw a barrage of shots come to him. The third period was an improvement for our team. Avyn Duncan got the puck up to Nolan McMillan who came through for us with a goal halfway thru the third. With only 10 seconds left, Nolan scored again on an assist from Sheldon Leis. It was a good final effort from our team but we had to settle for a final score of 4-2 L.

The Pee Wee's travel to Tiverton this Saturday for our first tournament of the year, the Wade Simmons Memorial. We start at 11am vs. Wasaga. We hope our team can continue working hard and come out with a win or two.
Sunday is a home game vs. Minto Mad Dogs at 4:30 pm at PERC.
