Pee Wee LL are working hard for the wins!
The Pee Wee team added another 'W' to the year with a 3-2 decision on Sunday vs. Minto Mad Dogs in Harriston.
The Pee Wee team continues to improve and work hard as a team and the hard work is paying off. Another away game on Sunday brought us to Harriston for a 3:30 pm start.
The first period remained scoreless throughout with both teams working to get it past the defenders. In the second period, Sheldon Leis connected with Lachlan Manning-Faber to put up the first goal of the game. The second period stayed at 1-0 for Central Perth. The third period added more excitement to the game. Brett Falk on a pass from Nolan McMillan scored our second of the game 4 minutes into the period. Our defense had a weak moment, when three minutes later, Minto scored their first of the game. Brett Falk answered back one minute later with his second of the game on an assist from Bradley Jantzi.
The defense had to hold onto this lead for the team. It came close with 3:46 remaining and Minto scored their second of the game.
Reid Baillie held them off for the last dwindling minutes of the game and we came out with a win, 3-2!
Great work again team! We have a practice Saturday morning in Monkton at 8am. Sunday we are back on the road to Zurich for a 3pm matchup vs the Zurich Thunder. See you there.
