Game 9 & 10 - Back on Track!
Game 9
Friday night the CMPH Atom LL welcomed the Mitchell Meteors to Monkton.
The team played hard, but came up short with a 2-0 loss.
If only every time they hit the post counted!
We look forward to our next match against Mitchell, as we will be playing an exhibition game January 15 at the Budweiser Gardens in London, before the London Knights Game!
Game 10
Monday night the Kincardine Kinucks 1 made their way to the PERC in Milverton to face off against the CMPH Atom LL. What a great game!
Heading in the second period, scoreless, Ryerson Hargrave was able to find the back of the net against a very strong Kincardine goalie with an unassisted goal. A minute later Nolan McMillian followed with his goal, assisted by Hargrave. Kincardine gaolie kept playing strong but CPHM never gave up, with shot after shot. In the third, Reid Douglas was able to sneak one more goal past her with an assist from Hunter Gilbert.
The game ended with a score of 3-0. A well earned shut out for Zach Bowels!
To keep the excitement going the team and families enjoyed a great Christmas party after. THANK YOU to all familes for bringing yummy food! A fun night to celebrate the season with new friends!
The team with start the New Year off in Clifford on January 2 for their second tournament of the season.
