Game 3 and 4 - Trick or Treat???
Oh what a treat… to watch the Atom LL play!
Game 3
Last Saturday The CPMHA Atom LL faced off against Mitchell, coming away with a 3-0 win!
Zach Bowles taking his first shutout of the year! An excellent game by Bowles, as Mitchell gave him a workout…out shooting the CPMHA ATOM LL. But hard work and determination paid off, gaining the team their three goals and a victory! First goal went to Landon Boers, assisted by Tristan Leis. Reid Douglas and Sawyer Voskamp follow with unassisted goals!
Game 4
Yesterday just before all the ghost and goblins came out, the Atom LL travelled to Clinton to show their skills against BCH Ice Dogs # 2. WHAT A GAME!! BHC #2 started the game off outskating and playing the Atom LL team in the first period, but then we woke up! During the second period Lies gets us on the score board, with the assist to Douglas.
Then the third period started, Atom LL down 3-1!
Ryerson Hargrave gets on the board with the second goal, assisted by Nolan McMillian and Voskamp.
One minute later Leis puts another one by the BCH Ice Dogs #2 goalie, with the help of Douglas to tie it up 3 – 3.
The Atom LL defensive gives it all they can, when Noel Kirkham passes it up to Boers who takes it all the way down the ice to get the winning goal!
The excitement continues with 1.5minues left in the game. CPMHA Atom LL find themselves trying to kill a penalty….and then the Ice Dogs pull their goalie, making it a 6 on 4 hockey game!! But the Atom LL stayed strong, and brought home a well, deserved victory!
