Game 1
What do you get when you take 12 kids from two different centers, from 5 different schools….one heck of a hockey team!

The Central Perth atom Local League started their season off today in Clinton. BCH and Central Perth gave the hockey fans a great game to watch, ending up in a 2-2 tie.

Ryerson Hargrave starts the season for the team with the first goal of the game at 6:22 in the first. Assist went to Reid Douglas and Noal Kirkham. Central Perth kept going strong, with a special shout out to Zach Bowles between the posts, he was on fire. BCH fought back hard and got their first goal with 10 seconds left in the first….but that didn’t slow us down! At 6:45 in the second Sawyer Voskamp came through with an unassisted goal. Bowls staying strong in the net, and a great defensive team in front the third period starts of strong, but BCH was able to sneak one more goal in at 9:20 to tie it up.

Central Perth Atom Local League is going to be a team to watch! Every player, equally strong in their own way, were great contributors to today’s game. With each practice and game to come this team will only get stronger as they learn more about each other.

Don’t miss their home opener next Friday, Oct. 23 in Monkton!
