Tough loss on the road...
A road trip to Drayton this week didn't produce a win, but the Atom's keep working at it.
A Tuesday night trip to Drayton didn't turn out how we had hoped. The first period looked promising with neither team netting a goal. Drayton opened the scoring in the second period. Cohen Smith, four minutes later, put our only point in the net on an assist from Kyle Steckley.
The third period saw Drayton put four goals passed Reid Baillie. The final score was 5-1 for Drayton.
Blyth-Brussels comes to Monkton on Friday night and then two games against Mount Forest round out the weekend.
