A big 'W' for the Atoms...
The Atom Reps finally come thru with a big win Friday night at home.
The Atom Reps notched their first win of the regular season on Friday night vs. Arthur. Cohen Smith netted our first goal of the night on a pass from Ben Fizell. Scoring first lifted the home teams spirits! Arthur answered back with one of their own. With only 9 seconds left in the first, Ben Fizell landed one unassisted to end the period.
The second period saw Arthur net one more goal. Cohen Smith was on fire as he put in two more goals in the second to not only make it a hat trick but also put Central Perth up 4-2. The third period saw Ried Baillie continue with an awesome performance in net to keep the Atoms ahead. Gavin Wilson also had a great game with two assists on Smith's goals. Ben Fizell also assisted on one of Smith's goals in the third. The game ended at 4-2 and the whole team was pumped!
This was the only game of the weekend for the Atoms. Next weekend they have a Friday night off for the Milverton Santa Claus parade, then back at it on Saturday to travel to Brussels for a 10am game.
