Exhibition Opener
The Midget Rep team hosted Mitchell in exhibition play for their first
taste of game action this year.
With a short bench, the boys put a good
effort together through two periods with the score 4-2 in favour of
visitors at the intermission. In the final frame, Mitchell struck first
to take a three goal lead. Central Perth replied a minute later to cut
the lead to two however, the boys could not match the intensity of the
first two periods with Mitchell scoring four unanswered. Central Perth
scoring came from Dana Smith with a goal and two assists. Ethan Leblanc
and Shawn Skinner each had a goal.
