The Central Perth Predators U13C girls are coming together to support a cause that is especially close to teammate Emma C.’s heart. Emma hopes to earn pink breast cancer awareness ribbons to be sewn onto the girls’ jerseys in honor of her family’s journey with breast cancer, including her mom, Lyndsay, who was diagnosed four years ago.
To make this happen, the U13C girls are hosting a Bottle Drive Friday Jan 2 from 3-5pm at both the PERC arena & Elma Logan Arena. All proceeds will be donated directly to breast cancer research. Once earned, the pink ribbons will be sewn onto the girls' jerseys turning each one into a symbol of strength, support & hope.
