Rough start to the WOAA playoff round...
The Atom Reps met up with Seaforth on Saturday morning to start their round of WOAA playoffs.
The first game in our WOAA playoffs didn't start off as we had hoped. Seaforth got on the board early with 2 goals in the first. We needed to find our legs and keep up with the speedy Seaforth offense.
Seaforth added 2 more in the second period to make it 4-0.
We hoped we could get on the board in the third period. Quinn Kipfer, our AP player, fed a pass to Ben Fizell and Ben found the net on a great shot! We were on the board!
It wasn't enough to get our kids rolling as Seaforth added 3 more to make it 7-1 final score.
Reid Baillie had another solid performance in net and kept the score down for us.
Just practise on Friday and Saturday night this weekend and then our next matchup is against Seaforth on Sunday, January 31st at 2pm. Then on February 4th we travel to Arthur.
