Great game vs. our neighbours to the North

The Pee Wee LL welcomed Listowel Cyclones Black team to Monkton on Friday night.

The Pee Wee's were hoping to get back on the winning streak after their first lost last week.
Darius Ladd opened the scoring for us 4 minutes in with a beauty goal on a pass from Kaleb Horton-Shine. The lead would be short lived as Listowel scored 2 minutes later. The first period ended at 1-1 tie.
The second period saw our offense explode for three goals. Cayden Hulley was doing his part to help our team with 2 goals 4 minutes apart. One assisted by Haiden Goetz and Owen Smith and the other by Derek Gropp. Ladd would add his second of the game, assisted by Gropp and Noal Kirkham with 1:12 left in the second. We went into the third with a commanding 4-1 lead.
The third period would see Gropp get his first of the game unassisted. Hulley would round out his hat trick with a goal assisted by Kiyran Coulter and Gropp. That's where it would end, a 6-1 final score.
Tim Beuerman had another great performance in net and the team is working together well, passing and being a team!
Next game is an exhibition one in Monkton Tuesday night, November 6th vs. Mitchell. (Mitchell's home game)
