OT Loss in Mount Forest
High scoring game

Your Midget Reps kicked off their WOAA series against Mount Forest last night, and unfortunately came up on the wrong side of the score board late in overtime, falling to Mount Forest 7-6.

Mount Forest would get on the board first, scoring two mid way through the first.  We would answer back before the period was over.  McCourt would get us rolling assisted by Erb.  Then Steckly would pot his first of the season with the Rep team, assisted by Quipp and Smith.  We'd end the first tied at 1.

The second would see us open things up, with Huber finding the mesh assisted by Quipp.  Then Skinner would pot two in a row, the first assisted by Francis, and the second assisted by McCourt and Francis.  Mount Forest would claw back two, and we'd head into the flood up 5-4.

Early in the third Mount Forest would tie things up.  Then Quipp would finish a feed from LeBlanc to put us back in front.  With under a minute left in the game, Mount Forests net empty, they'd sneak one by Mueller and tie the game up at 6 all.  Off to overtime we'd head.

Overtime was back and forth, with CP playing short handed for the majority of it due to untimely (and unnecessary) penalties, which would ultimately bite us in the butt, allowing Mount Forest to score the game winner with a 5 on 3 advantage.  Final score Mount Forest 7, CP 6.

The boys next face off against Drayon Tuesday night, in Drayton, for game 2 of their OMHA series.
