Midgets Sweep Lucknow
On to round 2 of OMHA
Your Midget Reps hosted Lucknow Friday night in game 3 of the opening round of the OMHA playoffs.
Early into the first McCourt would get things rolling assisted by Skinner and Steckly. As the period was winding down, Quipp would add another, assisted by Gilbert and Skinner. We'd end the first up 2-0.
Lucknow would get one back early in the 2nd, but that would be the only time the would beat Mueller on the night. Gilbert would respond in under a minute, assisted by McCourt and Terpstra. We wouuld head into the flood up 3-1.
The third saw a number of penalties for the Predators, but McCourt was able to pot his second of the night assisted by Gilbert and Terpstra. Final score CP 4, Lucknow 1.
The win gave us a sweep of the series, and moves us on to Round 2 where we will meet up with Drayton. No games are scheduled at this point. We also have to play Drayton in a home/home series as part of the WOAA playoffs, as well as a home/home against Mount Forest.
