Another win on the regular season!
The Pee Wee's travelled to Goderich last night for a game that had been rescheduled 2 times already.
The Pee Wee's were up against the Goderich 2 team that's sitting second in our division right now. We weren't sure what to expect for a game.
The first period showed that the 2 teams were fairly even as we went to 3:42 left in the first before Ryerson Hargrave assisted on the goal from Sawyer Voskamp. The second period proved just as equal as there were no goals scored for either squad.
We went into the third with a slim 1 goal lead. Zach Bowles took all the credit for that as he was stopping everything that came at him!
The third period saw Goderich get a goal to even things up. Nolan McMillan, just 7 seconds later though put us ahead by 1 on a goal assisted by Hunter Gilbert. With 3:27 left Goderich found a loose puck in front of Bowles and pushed that in to make it a 2-2 game. With just 10 seconds left, and a face off to the left of the Goderich goalie, Voskamp was able to get the puck over to Ryerson Hargrave and he carried the puck to the net and with 4.9 seconds left scored the game winner!
An exciting 3-2 win against the second place team in our division! Great work team. Zack Bowles did a fabulous job in net once again for us!
Our last regular season game is Sunday in Mitchell at 4:10.
