Solid team effort for the Pee Wee's vs. Minto
The Pee Wee LL welcomed Minto to the PERC on Saturday as part of our hockey weekend.

After the exciting news of our new organization's name, the Central Perth Predators, the Pee Wee LL skated onto the ice to see if they could notch another win.
From the drop of the puck, the Pee Wee team played a great game. The passing and team work showed through.
Just 1 1/2 minutes into the first period, Landon Boers scored his first unassisted goal of the game. Three minutes later, Boers would take control and get another unassisted goal. We went into the second period with a 2-0 lead.
The second period was a good defensive effort for both sides as neither team could get on the board. Kudos to both of the goalies in this period!
The third period saw the Predators break loose. Sawyer Voskamp scored assisted by Ryerson Hargrave. Nolan McMillan netted an unassisted goal. Voskamp would assist on one for Hargrave and then they returned the favour again when Voskamp got his second of the game and Hargrave assisted.

A two goal game for Boers and Voskamp, a goal and two assists for Hargrave.  Final score 6-0.

Sunday we travelled to Goderich for a match up with one of the top teams in our league right now.
Goderich was first to strike on the board 3 minutes in. And then again with 2:21 remaining. Ryerson Hargrave scored on an assist from Aleah Brown with 59 seconds left in the first to bring us within 1 goal.
We trailed 2-1 going into the second period. Goderich proved to be a quick skating and well organized team as they all played their positions well, anticipating the passes. They would get 2 more goals in the second period.
Into the third we go trailing 4-1. Again, Goderich would get 3 more goals. Aleah Brown came through for us on a pass from Hargrave and Voskamp to make it a 7-2 finish.

This week we welcome Drayton to Monkton on Thursday night and then we travel to Wingham on Sunday for a 7:30 game.
