Consistent start to the season for the Pee Wee LL team
A great couple of games for the Pee Wee LL this past week.
Thursday night BCH 2 came to Monkton for a 6:30 game.
A solid effort by all our team but we couldn't come up on the winning end. It was 1-0 for most of the game and then with minutes left, BCH scored an empty netter to make it a 2-0 final score.
Saturday we travelled to Lucknow for a 2:45 pm game.
Central Perth was first to get on the board 2 minutes into the game with Hunter Gilbert netting an unassisted goal.
We ended the first with a 1-0 lead.
The second period saw our team forge ahead with 3 goals. 2 minutes into the second, Ryerson Hargrave knocked a bouncing puck from Sawyer Voskamp past the Lucknow goalie. 3 minutes later Nolan McMillan was in the right place at the right time to knock a pass in from his linemates, Gilbert and Landon Boers. Lucknow would mark one more with 59 seconds left in the second. Landon Boers kept us rolling with a goal on assists from Gilbert and McMillan again with 7 seconds remaining.
Lucknow would get one in the third to come within 2 but the final score was 4-2 for Central Perth.
The only game we have this week is an away game in Drayton on Sunday at 4pm.
