Great game for Hockey Weekend in Milverton
The Atom LL had a great game on Saturday as part of CPHM's hockey weekend.
The Zurich Thunder came to the PERC on Saturday.
The first period proved to be a productive one for the Atom squad as we were able to get 3 goals to the 1 that Zurich scored. Haiden Goetz would score 2 of those 3 goals with Kiyran Coulter assisting on one. Derek Gropp contributed with an unassisted one too.
We went into the second period with a 3-1 lead. We would forge ahead and get 3 more goals in the second. Derek Gropp netted another one assisted by Bryer Hargrave. Haiden Goetz was on fire, getting 2 more with assists from Hailey McLean and Anden Pol.
We went into the third with a comfortable 6-1 lead. Zurich would get one more in the third.
Anden Pol netted one assisted by Nic Sippel and Ben Sippel. Hailey McLean would finish off our game with a goal assisted by Ben Sippel and Nic Sippel again.
Haiden Goetz had a 4 goal game, Derek Gropp had 2 goals, Hailey Mclean had 2 assists and a goal. Tim Beuerman had a fantastic outing in the net - stopping a number of shots. Great team effort!

This week we have a home game on Saturday in Monkton vs Ripley at 11am. Then Sunday, we make the trek to Kincardine for a 11 am start.
