Peewee Rep Home and Away Action
The Central Perth Peewees have been busy with both home and away action. Early season skating and passing shows lots of promise! The coaches are pleased with the effort put forth by all players thus far!
On October 15, Central Perth traveled to Goderich to tackle the Sailors, but came away with a tough 4-1 loss.
On October 17 the team made the trek to Harriston looking for a repeat performance of our first showdown with this team. However Harriston had other ideas, and came away with the win. The 8-4 loss doesn't necessarily reflect the strong performance of the Central Perth players.
Blyth Brussels traveled to Monkton for our October 20 game, and spectators weren't disappointed with the end to end action of this game. Zac Bowles held his ground in net, yet a feisty Blyth Brussels team was able to put the pressure on for the 5-4 win with only 15 seconds remaining! Coach Buchanan was heard to say after the game that "We're just getting started... We've got a solid group of young players who are having a lot of fun, and I look forward to more fast paced action on the ice... Keep up the solid effort, boys...."
