midgets end winless streak
After getting a tie against seaforth the Midgets lost 2 back to back games against a very strong Goderich team by scores of 9-2 and 8-3.  The boys were hungry to get their 1st win of the regular season Monday night when they made the trip to Mitchell to take on the meteors.

The boys came out flying and got several scoring chances early and it only took 3 minutes before Daryn vanherk found the back of the net with assist going to Bronson Higgs and Ethan Leblanc. Mitchell would score 2 minutes later tying it up but the boys were hungry and after missing several scoring chances Evan tollenaar ripped one past the Mitchell goalie with assist going to Aaron Tollenaar and Brent Bannerman.  Despite many chances for both teams the game would stay at 2-1 for the good guys heading into the 3rd. The boys came out flying in the 3rd wanting to get the win and it didn't take long for them to get on the board, with just under 2 minutes into the 3rd Darcy Smith fooled the Mitchell goalie with assists going to the Tollenaar brothers.  6 minutes later the boys would strike again with Aaron Tollenaar scoring and assist going to Darcy Smith and Evan Tollenaar.  Bronson Higgs would add another goal late in the game with assist going to Brent Bannerman and Jeremy Scheerer to secure a 5-1 win. Next up is BCH Wednesday night at 9:30pm in Hensell and then the boys are back at home to take on Mitchell Sunday night.
