Busy week for Peewee Reps
The team travelled north to Shallow Lake for their first tournament of the year! We did not have the most friendly schedule but the team went into the tournament with a positive attitude!
Our first game against Saugeen Shores AE we came out a little slow but got our stride going come the second period and never looked back, we went on to a 8-0 win, Sydney Paradis was stellar in the net getting the shutout!
Next up we faced a very choppy team from Muskoka who came out flying but once again Sydney was ready to play, keeping us in the game until we could find our scoring ways again, we came out of there with a 4-1 win.
Very early Sunday morning we faced Hagersville who was also 2 and 0 with the winner going on to the finals the two teams were very evenly matched with us trailing by one going in to the third period we were able to tie the game with just over five minutes left but Hagersville came back with a quick answer to complete the win for Hagersville 3-2.
Back home the following day the peewee reps hosted Lucknow in which we came out with a 2-2 tie.
Wednesday we traveled to Blyth we came out strong and set the tone for the first two periods taking a 2-0 lead into the third period but we lost our legs and got outplayed for the majority of the period where we let Blyth back into the game until the last second of the game when the opponent scored to complete the comeback and hand central Perth a 3-2 loss.
