Game 8 – What a night at the rink….intense, aggressive, sweat and tears!
The Atom LL suffered their second loss of the season at the PERC last night. However the score board does not reflect the hard work and determination the team brought to the rink. They gave Goderich Sailors 2 a good game! Unfortunately we just couldn’t find their net. 4-1 was the final score
CPMH goalie, Zach Bowles, was strong all night between the posts with a hot glove!
Going into the second period the Atoms found themselves down 1-0. Ryerson Hargrave put the Atom LL on the board with the help of the wingers, Sawyer Voskamp and Nolan McMillian. The third period starts at a 1-1 tie. Goderich soon finds the net to make it a 2-1 game. The excitement of the period continues but in the last 3 ½ minutes Goderich is able to sneak by two more goals.
The team will get ready for some fun this weekend as we participate in the First CPMH Fun weekend in Monkton. We will meet Mitchell Meteors on the ice Saturday afternoon at 2:30! Check out the CPMH home page for all team ice times!
