Last game of the season ends on a winning note!!
The Atom Reps braved the incoming weather and headed to Howick Wednesday night for an exhibition game vs. Howick.
The regular season for the Atoms has been over for a few weeks but Almer arranged an exhibition game with Howick Hornets. A great effort was put in by the whole team including the AP player, Quinn Kipfer. Jamie Donnelly played back on defence as we were down a defenceman. The final score was 10-2! It's great for the kids to end their season on a winning note after a tough season.
Saturday morning the parents lace up against the team and will have a fun Parent/Kid game at 9am in Milverton.
Hard to believe the season has passed us by. Many thanks to our coaching staff of Almer Faber and Kyle Baillie, training staff of Scott Steckley and Ben Fizell. The dedication to coach and support a team and the time involved through a season is much appreciated.
A big thank you to Owen Baillie who ran our clock for our home games all year. That was a huge help!
Thanks to the Atom LL players and Quinn Kipfer the Novice AP player who joined us through the year to help fill our roster when needed.
It was great to see the two groups of kids from Elma Logan and Milverton come together and play on an entirely new team with the amalgamation. All the kids interacted well and became friends quickly. As parents, we are glad that the kids adjusted well and came together as a team.
